ABOUT ME

Welcome!

I am Kyra Jackson, a recent graduate of the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Public Relations and a double minor in Legal Studies and Psychology. I graduated cum laude with a 3.95 GPA andDean’s List recognition while receiving both the UO Presidential and Summit Scholarships for academic and leadership achievement. During this time, I served as an active member of the Delta Gamma sorority, reciving the the Delta Gamma Lamp of Knowledge for scholastic excellence.

At the School of Journalism and Communication, I found my passion lies at the dynamic intersection of public relations, law, and psychology. I am especially intrigued by how conflict resolution, ethics, and behaviorism shape communication strategies.

Outside academics, I’ve gained hands-on experience throughout the many roles I’ve held. Currently, I am serving as the Director’s Assistant and Communications Director’s Assistant at the Pendleton Children’s Center. This role has sharpened my interpersonal communication skills, allowing me to build relationships with clients and students,  resolve internal conflicts, and adapt messaging to different audiences.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have been captivated by the world of beauty. What began as princess dress-up soon blossomed into a passion for style, hair, and makeup. Yet, even then, my love for beauty was never about aesthetics or appearance . . . it was about empowerment, confidence, and the freedom to express my own identity. This deep passion of mine has fueled my dream of working in the beauty, fashion, or wellness industry to help inspire and empower other women.

I am driven by a desire to help others and break down barriers. With my diverse skill set,  I strive to bridge communication gaps and foster understanding and growth.

Let’s connect! Whether you are a like-minded individual or want to provide a new perspective, feel free to reach out. I am excited to connect with others and I am eager to explore new opportunities.
