About Me

Welcome! I am Kyra Jackson, a senior at the University of Oregon, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a double minor in Legal Studies and Psychology. I have maintained a 3.86 GPA, earned Dean’s List recognition, and received both the UO Presidential and Summit Scholarships for academic and leadership achievement. Furthermore, I have received the Delta Gamma Lamp of Knowledge for scholastic excellence.

At the School of Journalism and Communication, I found my passion lies at the dynamic intersection of public relations, law and psychology. I am especially intrigued by how conflict resolution, ethics and behaviorism shape communication strategies.

Outside academics, I’ve gained hands-on experience as a part-time nanny and the previous Internal Communications Assistant Director at Pendleton Children’s Center. These roles have sharpened my interpersonal communication skills, allowing me to build relationships with clients and students,  resolve conflicts, and adapt messaging to different audiences.

Even as a little girl, I have been captivated by the world of beauty. What began as princess dress-up soon blossomed into a passion for style, hair and makeup. Yet, even then, my love for beauty was never about aesthetics or appearance—it was about empowerment, confidence and the freedom to express one’s own identity. This deep passion of mine has fueled my dream of working in the beauty, fashion, or wellness industry to inspire and empower women.

I am driven by a desire to help others and break down barriers. With my diverse skill set,  I strive to bridge communication gaps and foster understanding and growth.

Let’s connect! Whether you are a like-minded individual or want to provide a new perspective, feel free to reach out. I am excited to connect with others and I am eager to explore new opportunities.
